The 5th annual Backpack in the Park, at the new air-conditioned Greystone facility, seeks to top last year’s record when more than 1,600 backpacks filled with school supplies and gift cards were collected. To attend, please bring a new unwrapped backpack filled with school supplies or a gift card valued at $30 or more. In addition to complimentary food and beverages, the family-friendly event will have fun activities for people of all ages.
For the Kid in All of Us is launching a new partnership with Charitee Heart, a supplier of quality backpacks and other consumer items. Please SHOP EARLY for the Backpack in the Park event. Filled backpacks can still be ordered through Charitee Heart through July 30. Donors will just need to present a valid ID at the event for admission. Event supporters can purchase Charitee Heart’s new filled backpacks early by shopping online here. The company will then donate 10% of all sales back to For the Kid in All of Us. In addition, Charitee Heart will fill the backpacks with the recommended school supplies! To support your generous donations, they are offering special discounted prices for this event.
